The raestimo ESG Label is an autonomous sustainability accreditation, founded on an expertly validated methodology, which systematically and comparably categorizes a company's ESG performance.

In contrast to purely communicative labels, the classification is not generated in isolation but is derived from the raestimo ESG Rating. The ESG score is translated into a defined label category and subsequently subjected to additional verification against clearly established criteria.

This process yields a label that systematically integrates methodology, assessment, and quality assurance, thereby providing a robust foundation for ESG communication.

Methodology: Automated Rating Meets Verified Label Issuance

The raestimo ESG Label integrates three core elements into a cohesive overall process:

ESG Rating as Foundation: The classification is predicated on a comprehensive ESG assessment encompassing all three dimensions: Environmental, Social, and Governance.
Automated Derivation: The label is subsequently derived in a fully automated manner from the ESG Rating classification, precluding any manual intervention.
Supplementary Criteria Verification: The resultant label category undergoes subsequent verification against clearly defined criteria, including minimum requirements per ESG dimension and exclusion criteria for critical circumstances.

This combination ensures that the label is both data-driven and substantively validated, rather than being solely derived from a score.

The entire process – from ESG rating and automated derivation to label issuance – is structured to remain externally auditable and traceable. Concurrently, third-party verification (certification) of this process and label issuance is ensured, particularly with regard to regulatory requirements for sustainability labels.

The objective is for label issuance to comply with the requirements of the EmpCo Directive (effective date September 27, 2026) and to be based on a duly verified foundation.
